Gerald Farlow - Founder

Mr. Farlow has been active in the actuarial and insurance fields since graduating from Georgia State University. After his graduation, Mr. Farlow became a member of the actuarial staff of the Life Insurance Company of Georgia. After this, Mr. Farlow joined Bowles, Andrews and Towne, an actuarial consulting firm. There he provided actuarial and management consulting services to more than fifty client insurance companies. After his association with Bowles, Andrews and Towne, Mr. Farlow became Vice President of Georgia International Life Insurance Company.

After this Mr. Farlow was Executive Vice President of a Philadelphia based consulting firm. This firm provided consulting support services to Huggins & Company, an affiliated actuarial consulting firm. The firm also provided insurance and employee benefits consulting services to approximately seventy-five client insurance companies.

More recently Mr. Farlow was Vice President, Information Systems with Pan-American Life Insurance Company in New Orleans, Louisiana. There he had total management responsibility for the company's computer processing activities. Specific functions included preparation and management of a four million dollar annual expense budget, and directing the efforts of more than eighty systems, programming and operations personnel.

Mr. Farlow earned both a Master of Actuarial Science degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in actuarial science from Georgia State University.

Ian Farlow - President

Mr. Farlow is a distinguished graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology (graduated Magna Cum Laude) and a member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Mr. Farlow is a United States Marine having served with honor from 1993 to 1999, is a veteran of law enforcement at both the state and local levels, and is a former Magistrate Court Judge. He has been awarded a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Vice Admiral Abbot, Commander Sixth Fleet, as well as a Marine Corps Certificate of Commendation from the Commanding General, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune.

Mr. Farlow completed the Mini MBA in Finance & Accounting course at the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in 2008.

Mr. Farlow has been in the reinsurance industry with Gerald B. Farlow & Associates, Ltd. for years. He started on a part-time basis in 2000 and, as of 2009, is now on a full-time basis acting as the Chief Financial Officer of the company. He assists with the day to day management of the business and its client needs as well as provides research and analysis of domiciles and changes to IRS rules and procedures.

Mr. Farlow is continuing the company's tradition of providing professional services to insurance companies, insurance agents and agencies, and dealers through years of administration and management experience both inside and outside the insurance industry.
